Ugh…my ears!!Why mass construction?!Damn…having to hear those damn machines whir, drill and whatever else is giving me a bad headache.I get to hear it in school.I get to hear it at home. What’s next?I get to hear it from upstairs?!And the damn email is not functioning properly.Again.
On 2 lighter matters.
Thanks 2 my god-brother(for cheering me up; and I’m sorry for my cold behaviour a while back-no mood 2 be social),my god-sisters(most of the time, anyway. But I don’t want 2 take you’ all for granted),my knight(don’t be upset; I want to deal this on my own,ok?Don’t be mad at me; smile yourself! :DD)I suppose I’m fine today…I couldn’t wait for the insults(no,I’m not crazy. It’s good writing material. Not kidding you.)
Another dreary day.Going to work on my fan fiction today.I’ve delayed the other chapters for too long. No, don’t throw things at me.I didn’t not update on purpose.I was busy. And needed a 2 week break(which I’ll probably drag till the September Holidays to start working again…*ouch!I’ll get to work!Really!no throwing!*)
~Segment 2~
The door swung open without much protest from its hinges. The mist crawled in – silently, stealthily. The translucent vapour slowly crept up her legs, wrapping itself like tendrils of a plant. Reaching, reaching past her ankles. Covering her vision, clocking the sounds.
The girl hesitated. Should she step out? The mist is thick, dense, heavy. She strengthened her resolve and stepped out of the threshold. The dark embracing her.
She shivered as the chill brushed past her, the wind whispering softly. Just then, she heard a faint but lilting melody. The familiar and…happy tune warmed her, and beckoned her to follow – like a siren song.
The mist clung to her legs stubbornly, making walking difficult. As she neared the source of the melody, she glimpse the light flooding out the doorway before winking out.
The girl stood before the grand old dame, out of breathe. Partly because of its magnificent structure, partly because walking is a strain.
Without registering what she is doing, her hands reached out to knock on the door.
Knock knock…
The door groaned loudly as it slid open, a mop of silver hair greeted her.
“Yes?”the head looked up at her.The air thinning and parting out.
The girl screamed.
The head chuckled, door groaning once again as it closed, hinges shrieking maliciously. The mist blanketing her once more. Knees growing weak, she dropped down onto the ground, panting and sobbing silently.
The head was staring at her with hollow eyes. It…is not human…
